I am Malala- Brief summary

 I am Malala

A story of a girl who fought for education. She was very bright and good with words. A girl , a Pashtun girl from Swat Valley. Story of a country where women has no right for education, can not go market alone, cannot live without men. Story of a place where people with no vision, following the name of God and doing crime. But God never tells to fight or hurt others. People are illiterates and holy books interpretation was given wrong. These people are like frog of small well. They don't know that there is a whole world with good vision and perspective.

What I like in this book is that Malala loves to read books and she had read many books as many example and thought has been given in this books, to open one's perception. This book tells you that more you read more you understand the world and peoples. best way to understand world to read about it, read different people's ideas ,thought, story ,read it, understand it, interpret it by own and think over and over and then come with your own vision and thought. Never  follow what others has been said.

Here few lines from the book-

"To all the girl who have faced injustice and been silenced together we will be heard."

"A country created at midnight."

"Jinnah- No struggle can ever succeed  without women participating side by side with men."

"There are two power in the world one is the sword and other is the pen. there is a third power stronger then both, that of  women."

"The courage to find own path to travel along."

"Lack of education was the root of all country's problem."

"Ignorance allowed politician to fool people and bad administration to be re-elected.'

Mahatma Gandhi- "freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes."

"It does not matter what language you choose , the important thing is the words you use to express yourself."

"If you want to do something good, bit do it in a bad way, that's still bad. In the same way ,if you choose a good method to do something bad its still bad."

Abraham Lincoln- "It is far more honorable to fail than to cheat."

"in my heart was the belief that God would protect me. If I am speaking for my right , for the right of girls, I am not doing anything wrong. its my duty to do so. God wants to see how we behave in such situations.'

"One night there was a small explosion in their village and the wife cried.

Don't cry," said her husband,' that is the sound of your earing and nose stud. Now listen to the sound of your lockets and bangles."

Read the book to know more about her and her country.

Thankyou
